Read MoreWe are thrilled to announce we're expanding The Vintage Round Top! If you follow us on Instagram or Facebook, you've probably already seen some mentions of this.
Our addition will include a 2000-square-foot, two-bedroom, three-bath cottage with a kitchen and large great room. The space will be available to rent for lodging and/or intimate events including rehearsal dinners, bridal luncheons, cocktail parties, workshops, family reunions, corporate retreats, photo sessions, and more.
Right now we're knee-deep in the construction phase. The Texas rains over the winter put us about twelve weeks behind schedule, so we're working as hard as we can to make up some time.
We shopped in Round Top today to find pieces to incorporate into the new space. There were so many dealers already open. We feel so lucky to live amongst such an awesome event. We are walking distance to seven shows!
It's such a fun, exciting, scary, and exhilarating experience to be building a house. The addition is attached to the existing house and can be rented as two separate groups or one large one. The original home sleeps up to 6, the new space will sleep up to 8. You'll be able to rent the entire space for up to 14.
We're excited to share our labor of love and have enjoyed every minute of this journey! We can't wait for the project to be completed so that joyous memories can be made there. We truly feel the space is a haven.
We hope you'll come for a visit!

Read MoreOne of our favorite guilty pleasures in Round Top is the pie from Royers Round Top Cafe and Royers Pie Haven. Our current favorites are Texas Trash and Junkberry. However, that could change at a moments notice when tempted by homemade Peach or Apple. Either way, we feel blessed to have the choice. If you haven't experienced their slices of heaven, treat yourself -- you'll be glad you did!
